Obama Wins! - What do you think?

During this presidential election, Obama proved the election race was more than about race. It was about change. It was about dissatisfaction with the direction of the current administration. It was about the ending a prolonged war, about shoring up a faltering economy, about creating jobs here at home and not shipping them overseas, about strengthening the middle-class, about putting governmental controls on Wall Street CEO's who were feathering their own nests while wrecking our financial system, about building America's image and relationships abroad,
Over the course of the campaign, Obama won the support of American voters by demonstrating presidential leadership by his ability to address the nations problems clearly and calmly, by his ability to inspire voters of all ages and all walks of life, by his vision of building a better, stronger country that is not afraid of accepting change, one that indeed embraces it.
Obama campaigned against McCain's policies and ideas, successfully tying them to President George W. Bush. He did so while showing respect for his opponent's courage and wartime service. Throughout the campaign, Obama convinced Americans that he had the intelligence, temperament and judgment to handle the responsibilities of the oval office. His age, health and selection of a vice-president were also more reassuring than the McCain and Palin ticket.
